Hello and welcome, I’m Ebony :)

For as long as I can remember, I have always felt like there was more to life than the 'normal' path that most people take. I knew that I would try many different things through life, and live in different places.

After I finished school, I travelled to Bali and my dreams of travelling and living overseas only grew. Afterwards I spent years working in hospitality, trying to save up but feeling like I wasn’t really going anywhere and always struggling with money.

It became my dream to spend a summer working in Greece, and I tried for years to make it happen, but it just didn’t work out for me (yet). Then along came 2020 and with it, no travel for almost two years. I lost a lot of hope.

I switched to full time admin which I was good at, however I hated that lifestyle. It was completely mind numbing. I had almost no balance, and definitely no time for myself! I honestly felt like a shell of myself as I was so unfulfilled. 🥺

I found myself researching ways to make money online and tried a few, however nothing I did felt right or worked out for me and so I gave up for the time being.

After lockdown, we had to start going back into the office, which drove me to quit my full time job and start a receptionist position in a gym closer to home. I almost instantly sunk back into that numb feeling of just going through the motions.

I restarted my research of ways to make money online, and for months I was completely indecisive as there are SO many different options out there! I felt so overwhelmed and procrastinated HARD because I didn’t know how to make the decision.

I was so lost...

It was hard to move past my self doubts of wondering ‘what if I am not good enough? What if I fail? How can I trust this?’, but I realised that in order to make changes in my life and build my dream, I had to take risks, because the risk of taking the plunge and trying this course was way less than the risk of staying stagnant and bailing on my dreams.

I couldn’t let myself keep going the way that I was, plotting along while yearning for my dream life, but not doing anything to get it! I had to take action. I decided to trust the process and go for it!
